The concept

A domestic fantasy, undone.

Sugar Riot brings together Baroque-inspired silhouettes, punk attitude and pâtisserie-inspired couture. Within a world of pastel retro kitchens, an immaculate confectionery fantasy gradually unravels into indulgence, rebellion and chaos.

Boned corsetry, black lace, lacquered shine and oversized dessert forms turn the mid-century kitchen into a theatrical set. The visual polish is deliberate; so is the unravelling. Sweetness becomes spectacle, and appetite becomes a gesture of defiance.
