Pleated Kingdom
Architectural rhythm. Volume. Fabric in motion.
Pleated Kingdom explores pleating as a sculptural language. Folds, repetition and volume shape the body within Egyptian-inspired temple architecture. Pleated surfaces echo the surrounding columns, then expand into forms that transform the silhouette.
Material, construction and light guide the series. A study in how a garment can hold space, command a room and become a living monument.

The body becomes architecture
In Pleated Kingdom, the fold is more than a surface detail: it is the collection’s central structure. Repeated lines draw the eye around the body, gather at the waist and open into sculptural volumes. The silhouette moves between precision and spectacle—tailored close, then released into a train, a fan or a petal-like form.
The editorial places these imagined couture looks inside monumental, Egyptian-inspired interiors. Stone columns and carved walls provide a grounded counterpoint to the delicacy of the pleats; shifting light reveals their depth, rhythm and changing geometry.

A language of folds
Ivory, bronze and black establish a restrained, ceremonial palette. Turquoise and gold introduce a brighter, almost celestial note. Across the series, pleating shifts from close linear texture to expansive forms that frame the shoulders, trace the waist and trail across the floor.
The styling follows that same tension: sculptural adornment and graphic silhouettes meet the stillness of the temple setting. Each image is composed as a fashion tableau, where posture, light and the architecture around the model complete the garment’s form.

Form, rhythm, monument
Pleated Kingdom is a concept-driven digital fashion editorial about clothing as a space of transformation. It brings ancient architectural references into dialogue with an imagined couture future, using pleating to turn the body into a moving, living monument.
